In March 2006 Ignition21 Pty Ltd was created. The man in charge Daniel Walshaw has been operating in the website industry since 1997. Daniel has completed work in all fields of the Web Industry, from small sites to massive Intranets and Ecommerce sites. Having spent a large volume of this time working for other web site companies, he saw more and more clients who were receiving great products, which would then fail online as no one had bothered to look at the marketing side of the site.

The industry has been built on the belief that if you build a website then the people will come. The problem is with the Internet growing at such a rapid rate, this simply is not the case. A large volume of website companies, including all of Daniel's ex Employers, focused entirely on the production of a great product, and put minimal time into what is required to get this product seen on the web. Many companies include “Meta Tags” and “Mass Submissions” within a website package; however the actual value of this can be quite minimal.

For Example: If you ran “Sandy's Shoes” more likely then not these companies would build a site around the keywords “Sandy's Shoes”. If someone was looking for “Sandy's Shoes” there is a good chance you will be found, however those looking for specifics like “ladies shoes”, you would find you do not appear or you would, but far to down the list for anyone to take notice.
